Scolecite is a lesser-known healing stone that is often favoured by those who struggle with their mental health. This silicate variant is most commonly mined in India and is often recognized for its smooth and striking white exterior. However, outside of its appearance, it is a massively beneficial stone for those who struggle with all sorts of common mental ailments. There have been reports of Scolecite aiding with the symptoms associated with anxiety and depression in addition to helping insomniacs get more consistent, high-quality sleep. The primary reason Scolecite helps with all of these problems is because of its revitalising energy, making you feel lighter and more nourished and giving you a more positive disposition that does wonders for overcoming some of the struggles associated with mental illness. If you're looking to get the most out of this stone we recommend meditating with it, being around it will of course already make you feel better, however, it is at its most potent when kept near during moments of focus and tranquillity. Scolecite can be paired with many other stones and crystals to enhance its effects but we highly recommend pairing it with Selenite, another calming and nurturing stone.
