This is a variety of Red Jasper, distinguishable by the thick white, beige and black veins that branch across the body of the stone. These veins are actually Hemtatite trapped within the Jasper and, as some avid crystal collectors may know, Hematite is often praised for its ability to deflect negativity. These bands further accent the properties of the Jasper itself, which include providing us with a feeling of serenity, comfort, and safety. Brecciated Jasper is also a powerful healing stone that is particularly effective at alleviating symptoms of stress and anxiety, such as headaches, nausea, and tremors.
